‘Reclaim the power of the ancestors’. Dance and puppet theatre inspired by West African myths and rituals. Nom.Nos mixes dancers, puppets, myths and rituals around life and death, present and past, in a new look at our colonial past. Where are the roots, what histories from before the colonization can and should be told? Nom.Nos shines light on the Dutch and global colonial past. Which influence does this history have on how we treat each other and the world? Nom.Nos shows that there is a universal line to how we as humanity look at life and death, past, present and future.
