Parktheater in Eindhoven, de voormailige Stadsschouwburg Eindhoven, heeft modern geoutilleerde theaterzalen, prachtige foyers, de Intermezzo, Park & Pluche en een buitenterras: het decor voor een heerlijk avondje uit.

Parktheater Eindhoven is een van de grotere theaters in Nederland en ligt aan de rand van het Stadswandelpark, telt meer dan 500 theateractiviteiten voor bijna 300.000 bezoekers per jaar. Tussen 2005 en 2007 is het theater volledig gerenoveerd en uitgebreid met de nieuwe, multifunctionele Philipszaal. Parktheater is goed bereikbaar met het openbaar vervoer.

Op het Westergasfabriekterrein in Amsterdam is voor MC een eigen theater gebouwd dat in 2010 is geopend. Hier worden voorstellingen uit het MC productiehuis gepresenteerd, maar ook multidisciplinaire events en festivals met een internationale en nationale programmering. Een huis voor meerdere kunstdisciplines; muziek, dans, beeldende kunst, maar altijd met theater in het hart.

MC is ontstaan uit Made in da Shade en Cosmic theater. Cosmic theater was hét multiculturele podium van de stad. Made in da Shade een pionier op het gebied van urban, multimediaal theater. De kracht van beide groepen is samengekomen in MC; multicultureel, multidisciplinair, nu.

Het MC Theater bevindt zich op de Polonceaukade, midden op het Westergasfabriekterrein vlakbij de hoofdingang en is goed bereikbaar met het openbaar vervoer.

Amsterdam Zuidoost is een stadsdeel dat bruist van de culturele initiatieven. Er is een rijk aanbod aan theater-, muziek-, dans- en circusgroepen, zowel voor kinderen als volwassenen. Waar het aanontbrak was een podium waar al die enthousiaste beoefenaars hun kunsten konden laten zien.

Sinds oktober 2009 is er nu een professioneel, kleurrijktheater voor Amsterdam Zuidoost met een grootstedelijke uitstraling beschikbaar gekomen. Een plek waar iedereenzijn kunsten echt kan laten zien. Het is gelegen aan het Anton de Komplein en beschikt onder meer over een zaal met een theateropstelling, grote studio’s en een ruime foyer.

Based in the heart of Deptford, the Albany is a performing arts centre with a history stretching back to the nineteenth century. Over the last few years, it has emerged as a new type of arts venue, very much driven by the cultural diversity and creative mix of South East London. Involving people, through participation and partnerships, is central to its work and is essential to the delivery of its vision.

The Albany has four performance spaces, including its unique central performance space. Its other facilities include a café bar, rehearsal, workshop and meeting rooms, and a studio.

The Drum is the national centre for Black British arts and culture

The Drum is dedicated to developing and promoting contemporary art and culture of British African, Asian and Caribbean communities. Through its various initiatives, The Drum located in Aston, Birmingham, will continually strive to become a centre of national and international renown firmly rooted within its local community. The Drum is a place where contemporary Black arts flourish and are enjoyed, nurturing and broadening the appreciation of these arts for audiences and participants from the whole community – Black and White.

The Contact Theatre is a pioneering theatre venue on Oxford Road (on the University campus) in Manchester. The building includes three theatre spaces, a rehearsal, workshop and performance space. It also gives space to create performances and events in the ‘lounge’ area, which has a stage, a bar, and plenty of room to dance. International collaboration is very important.

The theatre regularly invite artists from across the world to perform at Contact, and programmes such as their theatre exchange festival Contacting the World help to develop new kinds of artistic understanding.
